Basic-level English for International Relations (BEFIR) is the first book of the English for International Relations series. This book covers various topics related to International Relations themes and provides a wide range of exercises to enhance the English proficiency of International Relations students. This book can also serve as a reliable source for lecturers to deliver English materials in the classroom. BEFIR is designed based on two English for Specific Purposes (ESP) research studies. The choices of topics and materials are based on the needs analysis of International Relations (IR) students and expert practitioners. This first series of English for International Relations is designed for basic International Relations students who study English in their first or second semester at a university. This book covers four major English skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
